Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of the content, fact-checking details, and verifying information for credibility and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with writers, editors, the SEO team, and designers to refine and improve the content, offering suggestions for revisions, enhancements, and optimization.
Maintain a strong understanding of the agencys target audience, brand voice, and marketing objectives to ensure that all content aligns with the intended messaging and resonates with the target market.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all digital assets to ensure a flawless end product before publication or dissemination.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and evolving language standards to maintain the agencys high editorial standards.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on content development, messaging strategies, and editorial guidelines.
Adhere to project deadlines, manage priorities effectively, and communicate any challenges or concerns to the relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience as a proofreader or editor preferably within a digital marketing or advertising agency.
Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax.
Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to proofreading and editing.
Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, terminology, and best practices.
Proficiency in using proofreading tools, style guides, and editing software.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
