Job Purpose

As a Junior Developer at FCM India, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure applications using Java and React frameworks within the Azure Cloud environment. With 3-4 years of experience, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, addressing business requirements and adhering to industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java and React, with a focus on building enterprise-level applications.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions using Java and React on the Azure platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and stability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
• Identify and address technical issues, bottlenecks, and performance gaps in applications.
• Implement secure coding practices and integrate security measures into applications.
• Optimize application performance with efficient algorithms, caching mechanisms, and database optimizations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Java, React, and Azure technologies, evaluating their potential for application enhancements.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications on Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Java, .NET environment, Web Services / WCF / Web API.
• Professional certifications in DevOps, AWS, Cloud Security, or similar are preferred.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Experience with API integration and analytics/monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Splunk).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
