As an IT Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day IT activities
Your responsibilities will include providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the maintenance of IT systems
Responsibilities:
User Support:Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly
Assist users with login, password resets, and basic IT troubleshooting
Hardware Maintenance:Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Conduct routine checks to ensure hardware functionality
Software Support:Install, configure, and update software applications
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues reported by users
Network Assistance:Assist in the configuration and maintenance of local area networks (LANs)
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, and user accounts
Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference
IT Security:Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security measures, including antivirus software and firewall configurations
Monitor for and report any security-related incidents
Procurement Support:Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software
Coordinate with vendors for the timely delivery of IT equipment
Meeting Support:Provide technical support for meetings, including setting up audio-visual equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
