Service Manager

company'sWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our tractor service and refurbishment department. The ideal candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of tractor service and refurbishment, ensuring that processes are standardized, timely, and cost-effective. In this role, you will also be responsible for inventory management, including batteries and tyres, while ensuring that all operational systems are well-maintained and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tractor Refurbishment: Oversee and ensure standardized refurbishment of tractors, ensuring all processes are completed in a timely manner, meeting cost and quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory for critical components such as batteries, tyres, and other parts to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize downtime, and prevent shortages.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve service processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Cost Management: Control and monitor service costs, including parts and labor, to ensure profitability and adherence to budget.
• Quality Control: Ensure all tractors undergo thorough inspection and testing post-refurbishment to meet the companys quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in service management, preferably in the tractor industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, specifically related to batteries, tyres, and other tractor components.
• Proficiency in using VMS (Vendor Management System), Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
