Position: Sourcing & Operations Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary: The Sourcing cum Operations professionals will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing strategy of different categories of staples, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient operational processes within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of agri-value chain expertise, supply chain management, quality management and risk management in commodities / staples

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Strategy:

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of Commodities.

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.

Supplier Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality standards and timely deliveries.

- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.

Operations Management:

- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes from sourcing to delivery.

- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline supply chain activities.

Quality Control & management

- Build and strengthen the processes to ensure right quality of staples , with consistency

- Implement total quality management

Data Analysis:

- Analyze market trends, supplier pricing, and product availability to inform sourcing decisions.

- Utilize data to drive continuous improvement in sourcing and operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

Compliance and Sustainability:

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

- Promote sustainable sourcing practices and explore eco-friendly options.

Qualifications:

- MBA( Top Tier Colleges)

- 3- 7 years of experience in sourcing and operations, preferably within the agricultural sector.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient in using sourcing and supply chain management software.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
