Job Description

Job Title: Channel Manager - Quick Commerce, E-commerce & Modern Trade

Location: Gurgaon

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Head of Business Development

Company Overview:

FarMart Pantry is embarking on an exciting journey to build a strong presence in the Quick Commerce, E-commerce, and Modern Trade spaces. We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual who can take ownership of setting up and scaling our business on these channels from scratch. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in the growth of a new and ambitious brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Registration & Setup

- Register FarMart Pantry on leading Quick Commerce platforms (Zepto, Blinkit, etc.), E-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), and Modern Trade retail chains.

- Ensure compliance with platform requirements, complete all onboarding processes, and coordinate with internal teams for a smooth registration.

Strategy Development & Execution

- Develop go-to-market strategies for each channel, considering customer demographics, product positioning, and promotional opportunities.

- Identify and implement best practices for product listings, visibility, and catalog management to maximize sales potential.

Account & Relationship Management

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel representatives to optimize visibility and partnership opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with Quick Commerce and E-commerce account managers to monitor product performance, address issues, and maximize revenue.

Sales & Marketing Coordination

- Work with the marketing team to develop channel-specific campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives to boost sales.

- Oversee pricing strategies, offers, and discounts while maintaining alignment with brand and margin goals.

Data Analysis & Reporting

- Track key performance metrics for each channel, including sales growth, inventory movement, customer reviews, and return rates.

- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales and improving the customer experience on each platform.

Inventory & Logistics Coordination

- Work with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure consistent stock availability, timely deliveries, and efficient handling of returns.

- Plan inventory based on seasonal trends, promotions, and demand forecasts to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

New Product Launches

- Coordinate with the product development team to launch new products on each platform, ensuring compliance with platform requirements and customer expectations.

- Implement pre-launch activities, including A+ content creation, sample distribution, and targeted promotions.

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Modern Trade, or related fields, ideally in FMCG or consumer goods.

- Proven track record of managing accounts on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of channel-specific strategies, including pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative to set up and drive channel growth from scratch.
