Apprentice-Software Test Engineer Trainee

Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field (recent graduates or final-year students preferred).

1. Test Design & Development:
   
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Design comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and define testing requirements.
2. Automation Frameworks:
   
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for testing APIs, web applications, and backend systems.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
3. Testing Activities:
   
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Python-based libraries (e.g., Requests, PyTest).
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure using bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
4. Data Validation:
   
• Work with large datasets, validating data pipelines, transformations, and outputs.
• Write Python scripts to simulate and validate complex test scenarios.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
   
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to track test progress and product quality.
