Power BI Developer - Synapse Analytics (2-3 yrs)

Job Title : Power BI Developer

Experience : 2-3 Years

Location : Remote

Notice Period : Immediate

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI.

- Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources like SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated measures and columns.

- Implement Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.

- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and best practices in report development.

- Apply Row-Level Security (RLS) for controlled access to data.

- Work with business users to gather requirements and deliver insights effectively.

- Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage sharing/access permissions.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service).

- Knowledge of DAX formulas and data modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema).

- Experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation.

- Hands-on experience with SQL queries for data extraction.

- Understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI Gateway.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) :

- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.

- Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, DataFactory).

- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics
