Job Description
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer C Research Expert with deep experience in the healthcare domain to lead the design and research efforts for our products. In this role, you will drive user-centric design processes, ensuring our healthcare solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs. You will leverage your expertise in UX design and research to create impactful experiences that enhance the usability and adoption of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from discovery to delivery, for healthcare- focused products.
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, usability testing, and contextual inquiries, to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to guide product development.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to provide actionable recommendations for product improvements.
- Mentor junior designers and researchers, fostering a culture of design excellence.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in UX design, healthcare technology, and user research methodologies.
ualifications:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in UX design and research, with a strong focus on healthcare products.
- Proven expertise in creating user-centered designs for complex workflows and systems.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Proficiency in user research methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Solid understanding of healthcare workflows, standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and regulations like HIPAA.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX design and research projects, particularly in the healthcare domain.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design solutions to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with healthcare-specific applications, such as EHRs, telemedicine platforms, or patient portals.
- Knowledge of analytics tools to measure and improve design performance.
