Verifix Test Engineer

Verifix Test Engineer: Detail-oriented Verifix Test Engineer with hands-on experience with the Verifix testing tool and a strong understanding of financial transaction protocols. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our trading systems. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Verifix servers and related application in Testing environment.
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.
• Utilize Verifix to perform comprehensive testing of trading applications and systems.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for FIX protocol implementations.
• Conduct functional testing of trading applications, including pre-trade, trade execution, and post-trade processes using Verifix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss testing progress, challenges, and strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Verifix & testing
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in FIX Protocol and trading technologies. Qualifications
  • Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in using Verifix tool is a must
  • Prior experience in a financial services or trading environment is a must
  • Knowledge of FIX Protocol and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of financial trading systems and protocols.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
