Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Role & responsibilities

1. Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.

2. Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium.

3. Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and report them to the development team.

4. Defect Reporting: Create and manage defect reports, tracking defects from identification to resolution.

5. Test Environment Management: Set up and manage test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of software applications.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Testing Tools: Experience with testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or JIRA.

2. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages like Java or C#.

3. Operating Systems: Experience with Windows operating systems.

4. Databases: Familiarity with databases like MS- SQL Server.

5. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

6. Knowledge of any ERP systems in manufacturing domain
