Director - Tech Project Delivery

This role will be responsible for managing project delivery for the ODC, ensuring that quality standards and delivery timelines are consistently met. They will oversee end-to-end project management, bridge communication gaps, and coordinate resources, ultimately improving client satisfaction.
The incumbent will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, aligning tech strategies with business needs, and building a strong, adaptive tech team ready for growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery & Technical Oversight: Ensure successful delivery of ODC tech projects, meeting quality standards and timelines, while overseeing architecture and technical direction for scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Client Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Resource, Team, & Performance Management: Allocate resources effectively, monitor team performance, and address skill gaps through training and development initiatives.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency: Conduct root cause analysis for project issues, implement corrective actions, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency through automation and tech solutions.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Develop a robust quality assurance framework, conduct regular audits, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
• Budget & Cost Management: Manage project budgets, collaborate with finance to meet financial targets, and optimize costs without compromising on quality.

Skills & experience required to Succeed in this role:

• Experience: 8-12 years in tech project management, specifically in ODC or outsourced delivery environments, with a strong background in managing international client projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership, process improvement, client communication, and risk management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
• Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and timelines, able to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong Technical Background
  • Extensive experience in software development, architecture, and systems design, ideally across multiple technologies and platforms.
  • Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps, and microservices architecture to support scalable, efficient infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with both frontend and backend technologies (JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, etc.) and emerging tech (AI, machine learning) to support the agency's projects and client demands.
  • Knowledge of manual/automated testing frameworks to support QA efforts.
• Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field; an MBA or relevant certification in project management is a plus
