Job Title: Vice President, IT Managed Services / MSP Sales

Location: Gurugram (On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

Serigor Inc is a Maryland-based, CMMI L3, Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in IT Services, IT Staff Augmentation, Government Solutions, and Global Delivery. Founded in 2009, we provide IT services to US government agencies and Fortune 500 companies, focusing on Managed IT Services, Enterprise Application Development, Testing and Management Consulting, Salesforce, Cloud and Infrastructure Consulting, DevOps Consulting, Migration Consulting, Service Management, Custom Implementation and IT Operations & Maintenance, Remote Application & Infrastructure Monitoring and Management, Big Data as a Service, and Data Science Consulting practices. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Vice President (VP) of IT Managed Services / MSP Sales who will be responsible for leading and driving the sales strategy, execution, and growth of the Managed Services business across the U.S. market. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to meet revenue goals, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners. The VP will play a pivotal role in expanding the companys market presence and driving profitability in the managed services sector

Please Note:

  • This role requires 15+ years of work experience in sales in the IT industry.
  • MUST be available to work in US EST time zone (7 PM IST - 4 AM IST).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Expertise & Solution Selling:
    • Leverage deep knowledge of advanced cybersecurity, computer networking, and IT services to develop tailored solutions for clients.
    • Promote and sell the companys full range of services, including:
      • Cybersecurity Strategy
      • Network Architecture and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
      • Cloud Services Management
      • Incident Response and Disaster Recovery
      • Data Protection and Compliance
      • Vendor and Partner Management
      • System Integration
      • Performance Monitoring and Optimization
      • Project Management (Agile/DevOps)
      • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
      • Endpoint Management
      • Client Relationship Management
    • Stay current on industry tools and solutions to provide the most effective and innovative services.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve the companys revenue targets for the Managed Services division.
    • Identify and prioritize key market segments, target accounts, and strategic opportunities for growth.
    • Drive the sales process from lead generation through closing, ensuring a high conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on the U.S. market.
    • Set clear performance goals and metrics for the sales team, and regularly monitor and report on progress.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales team.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through effective account management.
  • Market Analysis & Business Development:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and mergers/acquisitions.
  • Financial & Operational Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to sales and business operations.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in managed services and sales.
    • Implement innovative sales techniques, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of the sales team and the Managed Services division.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on managed services or MSP sales.
    • Proven track record of leading and growing a successful sales team in the U.S. market.
    • Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
    • Strong understanding of the IT managed services industry, including cybersecurity, cloud services, networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics, and other sales tools.
    • Expertise in advanced cybersecurity, IT services, and related tools and solutions.
  • Work Environment: Remote or hybrid work environment, with travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events. Fast-paced, dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
