Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills. Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant financial analysis experience required. Experience preparing a variety of financial analysis, including operating and investment analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as liaison between Corporate Business Partners and resource for the internal customers (Executive Leadership Team).
• Ability to lead projects across the organization, communicate effectively, resulting in successful outcomes for internal and external customers.
• Must be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with great organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
• Strong logic and critical thinking skills both technical and financial a must.

Financial AnalystKey Accountabilities:

• Prepare detailed analysis (SG&A, Add-backs, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) for the business, as well as assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, analyzing business trends, and preparing analysis to evaluate business opportunities. The position will also support the budget, forecast, strategic planning process and may include assisting in the evaluation of potential acquisitions and expansions.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans for SG&A and assigned corporate functions. Collaborate with functional leaders to understand business drivers and incorporate them into financial models.
• Provide monthly variance analysis and performance reporting, identifying key trends and drivers. Track and analyze actual expenses against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Support the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and support decision-making.
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate cost-saving initiatives and investments.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and process improvement projects.

Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies in reporting and analysis.
