Engineer / Executive - Sourcing

Role & responsibilities

• On time Development of new products and suppliers for OEM/ODM category and should have exposure to WD products and home automation products categories like IOT, KNX, Wi-Fi ,BMS and LMS products.
• Knowledge of Product Costing and analysis for all above categories.
• Have ability to do cost saving through VA/VE for all above categories.
• Vendor development and upgradation as per business requirements.
• Should be able to execute Vendor Assessment, Vendor Audit, Vendor rating, Vendor Registration and Purchase contract.
• Coordination with Supplier and internal CFT member to complete sourcing activities.
• Able to face and resolve queries in internal and external audits.
• Should have capability to give clear communications and make logical decision.
• Should have knowledge of Indian as well as overseas product for product categories of WD Products and home automation system such as IOT, KNX, Wi-Fi, BMS and LMS.
• Should have knowledge of various manufacturing process like Injection Molding, packaging, press parts and electronic parts
• Adequate knowledge of various compliances like CRS, RoHS, WPC etc.
• Should have strong negotiation Skill and cost evaluation.
• Excellent Communication skill and positive approach.
• Should be a good team player.
