Capex Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Executing all accounting procedures as per the companys process and control requirements for invoice verifications
• Assimilating information and data and keeping track of all the Goods received Notes
• Reviewing the data input and cross referencing with hardcopies to ensure accuracy of the bill
• Ensuring all invoices and receipts are verified before submitting the entries
• Capturing and classifying the data in to identifiable assets for tracking purposes and assigning proper acquisition values, as required.
• Tracking consistently management of depreciation schedules
• Preparing CAPEX tracker and monitoring CAPEX requests and strictly ensuring the transactions are complying with the payments terms.
• Performing monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closure in compliance with accounting standards
• Reviewing of capex accounting, including timely update of fixed assets register (FAR), reconciliation of FAR etc.
• Administration of capital assets through periodic audits, provide relevant data and identify gaps in physical reports provided by the plants.
• Supporting various audit activities by providing relevant process understanding , information and documentations
• Performing procedures related to tax requirements (TDS and GST) at the time of invoice verifications,
• Assisting in the preparation of tax compliance filings for all relevant tax jurisdictions for the Corporation, legal entities, as well as filings related to government required tax accounting disclosures
• Monitoring, reviewing and controlling the current processes and identify opportunities and implement initiatives for process improvement
