We are currently hiring Accounts Executives and Accounts Manager For UAE Based client (Remote Work)
Location - Fort (CST/Churchgate)
Experience Required: 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with Gulf-region exposure
Job Description
1. Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Process vendor invoices, customer receipts, and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure timely posting of journal entries and reconciliation of ledgers.
2. Accounts Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and intercompany accounts.
- Monitor discrepancies in accounts and resolve them promptly.
- Conduct monthly and yearly closing activities, ensuring accuracy.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
- Process and monitor vendor payments and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Track accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Prepare aging reports and coordinate with clients for overdue payments.
4. Taxation & Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with Gulf-region tax regulations and financial standards.
- Prepare supporting documentation for audits and liaise with auditors.
5. Budgeting & Expense Management:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expense allocations.
- Generate periodic financial reports for budget variance analysis.
- Provide cost-saving recommendations based on expense trends.
6. Payroll Processing Support:
- Process payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and end-of-service benefits.
- Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee payment records.
7. Reporting & Financial Analysis:
- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for internal and client review.
- Assist in generating cash flow statements and profit & loss analyses.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial data requests.
8. Administrative Support:
- Manage petty cash and maintain proper documentation for reimbursements.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and WPS.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with Gulf clients or in the UAE market.
- Exposure to handling financial audits and compliance activities.
Languages:
- Fluent in English
Work Environment:
The Accounts Executive will work closely with the finance team and external stakeholders, contributing to the smooth operation of financial activities. The role requires adherence to Gulf-region compliance and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.
