Position Summary:
- Seeking experienced and dynamic Business Development Directors to join and drive the expansion of our digital platforms and products in the renewables industry.
- The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of selling Asset Performance Management solutions and products in the Operation and Maintenance areas for energy companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the renewables sector, focusing on key regions: Mumbai and Delhi (India), California or Texas (USA), and Dubai or Abu Dhabi (Middle East).
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the energy industry, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for digital platforms and products, particularly in Asset Performance Management and Operation & Maintenance areas.
Product Promotion:
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges within the renewables sector.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the renewables industry.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, progress towards targets, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on selling digital platforms/products to the renewables industry.
- Experience in Asset Performance Management and Operation &and
- Maintenance for energy companies is highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the renewables industry, including market dynamics, key players, and regulatory environment.
