Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Consultant

Job Description:

Position Overview: As a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications, with a strong focus on the Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless integration, customization, and optimization of PeopleSoft systems to meet our organization's business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. FSCM and HCM Module Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
2. Customization and Configuration: Utilize your technical skills to customize and configure PeopleSoft modules, tailoring them to meet scientific business needs, while adhering to best practices.
3. Integration: Develop and maintain integration solutions between PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy and system interoperability.
4. System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance, including applying patches, updates, and fixes to ensure system stability and security.
5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related issues promptly, optimizing user experience and productivity.
6. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions within PeopleSoft to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
7. Security and Compliance: Ensure that PeopleSoft systems adhere to security standards and compliance regulations, implementing necessary controls and monitoring processes.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes, making it accessible to team members and stakeholders.
9. Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members to enhance their proficiency with PeopleSoft systems.
10. Stay Current: Stay updated with the latest developments in PeopleSoft technology and FSCM/HCM modules to propose innovative solutions and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with a focus on FSCM and HCM modules.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft tools, including PeopleCode, Application Designer, Integration Broker, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of business processes within FSCM and HCM domains.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards in the context of PeopleSoft systems.
• Experience with system upgrades, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Certification in PeopleSoft and familiarity with Oracle databases is a plus.
