SQL Developer - Database Design (7-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Manage data warehouse operations in accordance with data management principles.

- Possess strong techno-functional knowledge, including Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Profiling, Data Analysis, Data Storage and Management, Data Quality Validation, and ETL through SSIS and T-SQL.

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or other ETL tools.

- Extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target databases or data warehouses.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

- Forward Engineering: Translate business requirements into SQL logic.

- Reverse Engineering: Convert SQL logic into business requirement documentation.

- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

- Document data flows using tools like Visio.

- Document business requirements in Word.

- Create source-to-target mapping documents in Excel.

- Document ETL processes and source-to-target mappings.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications :

- 7-12 years of experience in SQL Server development.

- Strong experience in data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS (or other ETL tools).

- Proficiency in data modeling and database design.

- Experience with data quality and data profiling techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

- Experience with Agile methodologies
