Job Description

Job Title: Manager/ Sr. Manager

Department: Production

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for execution of production plan, as per priority for the forecasted / Purchase order of customer and plan of R&D with customer satisfaction.
• To ensure dispatch schedule of product on time by coordinating with cross functional departments.
• Ensure that the activities in the area are carried out as defined in Cgmp and CFR regulations.
• To deliver the quality product by optimum utilization of available resources.
• To carry out scheduling, reviewing, monitoring of product and technology transfer activity.
• To carry out trouble shooting in production to achieve set targets.
• To coordinate with R&D, F&D, QA, QC, QMS and other functional departments for implementation/ introduction of products/ process.
• To streamline production process with a view to increase profitability through optimum deployment of available resources.
• Checking of MPCR, MBPR, Batch Manufacturing Records, Batch Packing Records, SOP and other related documents.
• Checking of Calibration, Validation, Qualification Planner and Annual Maintenance Contract of equipment, Instruments, Measuring Devices and Facilities.
• Checking and closure of QMS documents like NCR, Deviation, Incident, File Note etc.
• Ensure strict adherence to Cgmp in the production and produce output as per the norms.
• To assist in preparation, Checking, maintaining and updating documents as per Cgmp norms.
• To participate in preparation and facing of internal and external audits and become a member of self-inspection audit.
• To impart on job training and conduct refresher course to improve the skill and efficiency of staff.
• To identify training needs, carry out training and evaluation of training for employees, To train the employees about SOP, Cgmp and safety norms.
• To ensure that the product are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation to obtain the quality, safety, purity, identity and efficacy.
• To approve the instructions related to production, in process control and strict implementation.
• Responsible for representing the area to visitors and auditors.
• To ensure regular monitoring and control of manufacturing environment and to take corrective and preventive action where ever required.
• To ensure that staff maintains proper discipline and to carry out their work plan as per the set standard and procedure.
• Checking of manufacturing documents related to Export, Exhibit, and scale-up and trial batches.

Basic Qualifications:

B. Pharma/ M. Pharma/ MBA

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Regulatory Skills: In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines, including cGMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive initiatives, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Advanced computer skills, including expertise in MS Office and relevant industry software.
