Job Description:
- Having Post Qualification experience 8 to 12 (Having experience in starts up will be advantage)
- Working in start-up will be advantage.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, and other local regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and review key financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and profitability metrics.
Cost Management:
- Track and analyze company expenses to ensure effective cost control.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to identify areas for cost optimization without compromising quality or growth.
Audit & Internal Controls:
- Liaise with external auditors for the annual audit process and ensure financial statements meet audit standards.
- Review internal control systems to ensure proper compliance and reduce financial risks.
Taxation:
- Monitor and manage direct and indirect taxes for the company, ensuring proper compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
- Provide tax planning and advice, including structuring deals or product pricing to optimize tax efficiency.
Financial Systems & Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve financial systems and processes to streamline operations.
- Implement best practices in financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls.
Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare and present financial reports for the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing) to align financial goals with business objectives.
Fund Management:
- Manage working capital and ensure the company has sufficient liquidity for daily operations and future growth.
