About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers while delivering high-quality software solutions.
You will be responsible for the technical direction and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of Java engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps for projects.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and QA engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and technologies.
- Monitor and analyze project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 7+ years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in core Java concepts (OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka.
- Proficiency in development tools : Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Bitbucket, SoapUI, and JUnit Automation.
- Experience with Cassandra databases and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of REST protocols, CI/CD pipelines, and Git Flow techniques.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
- Experience in the Telecom or Retail domain is a plus.
