Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sensor Fusion Expert to join our team and contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on integrating and processing data from multiple sensors using Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sensor fusion algorithms, data processing, and Python programming, with the ability to solve complex challenges in real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize sensor fusion algorithms for integrating data from multiple sensors (e.g., IMUs, LiDAR, cameras, GPS).
• Design and maintain pipelines for processing and synchronizing sensor data in real-time.
• Implement probabilistic and deterministic approaches for sensor fusion (e.g., Kalman Filters, Particle Filters, Bayesian methods).
• Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable Python code for data acquisition, processing, and fusion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot sensor fusion systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sensor fusion technologies and apply best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming Skills: Proficient in Python, including libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and PyTorch/TensorFlow (preferred).
• Sensor Fusion Expertise: Solid understanding of sensor fusion techniques and algorithms (e.g., Kalman Filters, Extended Kalman Filters, Unscented Kalman Filters, Particle Filters).
• Mathematical Skills: Strong grasp of linear algebra, probability, statistics, and signal processing.
• Data Handling: Experience with processing large datasets from sensors like LiDAR, IMUs, and GPS.
• Real-Time Systems: Familiarity with real-time data synchronization and processing challenges.
• Tools and Frameworks: Experience with ROS, OpenCV, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical challenges effectively.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or navigation.
• Knowledge of hardware integration and interfacing with sensors.
• Experience with cloud platforms or edge computing for sensor data processing.
