Finance and Warehouse Specialist D365 Finance and Operations & AX 2012

Role description: skilled Finance and Warehouse Specialist with in-depth expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365) and AX 2012

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Management:

• Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 FO's financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, and Fixed Assets.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
• Address issues in financial workflows, system errors, and discrepancies in reporting.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system integration problems affecting financial processes.
• Provide end-user support and resolve questions related to financial transactions or module usage.

Warehouse Operations:

• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and order fulfillment using D365 and AX 2012 Warehouse Management modules.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, picking strategies, and inventory cycle counts to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
• Provide support for warehouse module customization and issue resolution.

Production and Supply Chain Support (Preferred):

• Assist in configuring and managing the Production Control module, including production orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and routing setups.
• Support supply chain workflows, including procurement, materials management, and vendor collaboration.

System Integration and Support:

• Collaborate with IT teams for the integration and alignment of finance, warehouse, production, and supply chain modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Assist in migrating from AX 2012 to D365 or implementing D365 enhancements as required.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system performance.
• Stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics best practices, updates, and industry trends.
• Contribute to process improvement projects across finance, warehouse, and supply chain functions.
