The Role:

TIO (The Investment Office) of Everstone Capital is seeking to hire an Analyst for their Mumbai office. The Investment Office function reports to the Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the firm. The TIO team comprises of MD (CBO - India) and an Associate.

TIO works closely with the deal teams across the entire investment cycle, including Due Diligence, Closing, Risk Committee, Investment Committee, Portfolio Management, and Exit Management. The role offers an opportunity to the candidate to get first-hand experience of the entire deal process and an opportunity to transition to the investment team.

TIO also works closely with Fund Operations and Business Development teams for periodic fair value assessment / exit projections of the fund portfolios and investor reporting.

TIO is responsible for entire Portfolio and Risk Management for the firm, developing and ensuring compliance to systems and processes for the firm and for checking quality and adequacy of the work of the deal team before it reaches the Vice Chairman, CIO and Investment Committee members of the firm. Additionally, the TIO team is also a key driver for projects for PE vertical at Everstone.

Skillsets Needed:

An ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

1. CA, first attempt, with 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, FDD or similar

2. CFA - preferred additional qualification

3. Good oral and written communication skills

4. Proficiency in building, analysing and operating financial models.

5. Proficiency in preparing power point presentations

6. Good working understanding of finance, accounting, tax and valuations

7. Candidate must have project management skills and ability to multi-task

8. Candidate should be highly organised with ability to work with large amounts of data

9. Very strong Attention to detail

10. Team Player and ability to work with people collaboratively
