Position Overview:
As an Investment Banking Associate/Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in equity market. You will work closely with senior investment professionals andcontribute to the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incumbent will actively be participating in the investment/funding/M&A process.
- Proactively identify and source opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking within the desired community.
- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential targets, including financial analysis, market assessments, legal reviews, and risk assessments.
- Financial Modelling: Develop complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess valuation, and forecast potential returns.
- Market Research: Stay informed about macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, tax and operations, to ensure successful transactions execution and portfolio management.
- Help in developing relationships with investors, intermediaries and other ecosystem participants in connection with origination, due diligence and portfolio management.
Desired Qualifications:
- MBA/PG/CA/CFA with relevant experience in Investment Banking with large firms.
- Minumum 2 year related work experience (e.g. investment banking, consulting, private equity/ venture capital, entrepreneurship, etc.).
- Excellent research, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
- Strong (written and oral) communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, pitch book creation, and information memorandum preparation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and perform accurate number crunching.
- Proficient in Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other tools for financial modeling and analysis.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong business acumen with a keen understanding of finance and accounting principles.
