Role & responsibilities:

• Procurement Management
  Identify and procure construction materials (cement, steel, tiles, fixtures, etc.).
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.

• Vendor Management
• Identify reliable suppliers and build long-term relationships.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate favorable terms.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and agreements.

• Cost Optimization
  Analyze market trends to get the best deals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost efficiency.

• Inventory and Stock Management
  Monitor stock levels to maintain an adequate inventory of materials.
• Coordinate with the store team to avoid shortages or overstocking.

• Documentation and Compliance
  Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Ensure procurement complies with legal and organizational guidelines.

• Quality Assurance
  Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Address issues related to substandard materials or services.

• Coordination with Teams
  Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and architects to understand material needs.
• Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery of materials to construction sites.

• Budget Management
  Work within the project budget for procurement activities.
• Provide periodic reports on expenses and cost savings.
