Back End Developer

We are developing a comprehensive set of platforms that focuses on using the latest technology to enable our clients deliver better and faster customer experience.

Position Purpose:

The Backend Developer will work under the oversight of the Head of Engineering/Backend Lead and assist with all the backend development responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain code for the backend of our platforms and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high security, reliability, and performance of our products.
• Design and build complex systems that can scale rapidly with little maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade platform products and digital assets.
• Able to lead and successfully complete software projects without major guidance from a lead.
• Respond to and troubleshoot complex problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
• Handle multiple competing priorities in an agile, fast-paced environment.

​Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Python/Java/Golang/Node Developer.
• Expert knowledge of Java/Python and related frameworks including Springboot, Django, FastAPI.
• Experience working with Relational (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) Databases.
• Strong understanding/expertise in building REST APIs/ Micro services architecture.
• Solid understanding of unit testing concepts and TDD framework.
• Experience working with any cloud services provider is a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure).
