Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer with strong experience in Node.js REST API, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server to contribute to the development of a FinTech solution. This role requires hands-on development across the front-end, back-end, and database layers, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

As a key contributor, you will collaborate with global teams across India, Europe, and the USA, participating in Agile workflows, implementing best coding practices, and helping optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
• Develop front-end user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build and optimize backend services using Node.js REST API.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using .Net Core.
• Work with SQL Server databases, writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Code Quality & Performance Optimization:
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve system reliability.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Database Development & Optimization:
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to improve database performance.
• Ensure data integrity, backup strategies, and efficient query execution.
• Collaboration & Agile Development:
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Collaborate with global teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• System Architecture & Best Practices:
• Contribute to system design discussions and propose technical improvements.
• Ensure development follows best practices and modern software design principles.

Required Skills & Expertise:

1. 4-6 years of experience in full-stack software development.
2. Strong hands-on experience with:
3. Node.js REST API development (Primary)
4. Node.js Frameworks such as Express JS, KOA, etc.
5. Angular, TypeScript, REST APIs
6. SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Indexing)
7. HTML5, CSS, and responsive front-end frameworks
8. Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and server-side development.
9. Good understanding of database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
10. Experience in working with third-party APIs Integrations
11. Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Azure Dev Ops).
12. Hands-on in SSRS Report is advantage.
13. Ability and passion for learning new software technologies.
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional global teams.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a global team environment.
16. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):

• C# and .NET Core Web API.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
