Safe Scrum Master

Job Role: Scrum Master
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Timing: 11 AM IST to 8 PM IST

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will join a highly skilled Product Consultancy team working on Admin Suite implementation projects. You will play a key role in a Professional Services project team, collaborating with customers to implement customer-specific solution configurations, features, user stories, and web service integrations. You will also be responsible for solution upgrades.
Our Scrum Masters are more than just facilitators; they need to understand the technical aspects of the work being performed by the team, ensuring dependencies are managed and user stories are delivered according to the "Definition of Done."

You will work closely with Business and Technical Consultants, Project Managers, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional team members, following Agile methodologies (mainly SAFe). This is an excellent opportunity to develop your software development leadership and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate one or more project scrum teams responsible for solution delivery.
• Help the scrum teams progress toward release goals and focus on sprint goals.
• Drive backlog refinement, sprint estimation, risk management, and sprint/release planning activities.
• Measure and track team deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to the "Definition of Done."
• Address issues and escalate when necessary, involving PMs and Team Leads.
• Contribute to the evolution of the development SDLC and release processes.
• Ensure the team achieves velocity and capacity targets and continuously improve practices.
• Promote organizational values and foster positive relationships with teams, customers, and partners.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites when necessary.

Education and Experience:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience, preferably in enterprise-scale systems.
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership/coordination, preferably as a Scrum Master or equivalent.
• Experience in line management, including performance appraisals of direct reports.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and release cycle patterns.

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years of Java development experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership/coordination, preferably as Scrum Master or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing web-based Java applications and web service integrations.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in the English language (both verbal and written).
