AutoCAD Detailer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interpret designer drawings and proficiently develop shop drawings and detailed shop/fabrication drawings for steel structures, including columns, beams, rafters, cold form, and sheeting.
• Determine scale and perform necessary mathematical calculations.
• Prepare shop/fabrication drawings of structural components, ranging from simple to complex configurations, using customer structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and other hand-off documents. (Drawing complexity is based on team members' experience and skill levels.)
• Collaborate with designers to develop construction techniques and create anchor bolt and general arrangement drawings.
• Operate efficiently under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Utilize effective communication skills.
• Prioritize workload and communicate issues to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow defined processes and procedures for self-checking to ensure quality detailing.
• Deliver high-quality output within specified timelines and proactively report any deviations to the team leader.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• 3+ years of experience in detailing in the field of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) or heavy structures.
• Essential qualifications include ITI Draftsman, Diploma, or B.Tech/BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred profiles include candidates experienced in PEB, fabrication, and general arrangement.
