SAP PI/PO Consultant - E2E Implementation (8-9 yrs)

About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP PI/PO Consultant with a strong focus on EDI integration to join our team.

- In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using SAP PI/PO.

- You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems through EDI and other communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement EDI interfaces using SAP PI/PO, including mapping, routing, and monitoring.

- Deep expertise in handling various EDI formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12) and IDoc structures.

- Experience with B2B integration scenarios, including partner onboarding, communication setup (AS2, SFTP, FTP), and data exchange.

- Configure and maintain EDI communication channels and partner relationships.

- Troubleshoot EDI-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Develop and maintain interfaces using various SAP PI/PO components, including adapters, message mappings, and user-defined functions (UDFs) in Java/JavaScript.

Experience with different communication protocols :

- HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, OFTP, AS1, AS2.

- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the integration process.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and go-live support.

- Collaborate effectively with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.

- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in SAP PI/PO, EDI, and integration technologies.

- Adhere to industry standards and best practices for data security and compliance.

- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO development and support.

- Strong expertise in EDI integration, including EDI formats (EDIFACT, ANSI X12), IDoc structures, and B2B communication protocols.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing complex integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO.

- Experience with Java/JavaScript UDF development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred :

1 Experience with SAP ERP modules (ECC), particularly in areas related to EDI (Sales, Logistics, Materials Management).

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its integration capabilities.

- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g , SAP CPI).

- Knowledge of industry-specific EDI standards and regulations.
