Integration Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Application development design of programs or features to perform specific operational functions, such as financial account management, reporting, internal communications, or online applications.
• Develop application and integration plans and strategies to optimize data sources
• Present solutions and data acquisition strategies for approval and implementation
• Collaborate with other developers to perform integration projects and procedures
• Follow standard practices for integration processes to secure high-quality performance of data integration systems
• Monitor data configurations, test interfaces, and convert physical data to source codes
• Optimize information system programs and network architectures
• Collaborate with users and analysts to convert specifications into technical designs
• Follow business requirements to improve integration development plans
• Follow IT security and Data Governance processes and procedures
• Manage retrieval systems and databases after integration to detect bugs or errors
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to integration, and general system issues
• Maintain documentation, including procedures, configuration, and architecture
• Ability to simplify or contextualize complex terminology and applications to help others understand the impact of applications, configurations and integrations.

Skills:

• Understand all stages of application development and integration
• Analytical skills to assess data information systems e4iciently and detect the source of an organizational problems by accounting for architectural components and operational processes.
• Understand integration processes, such as servers and databases and how to use integration tools to assess, consolidate, convert, and transmit information from one source to another
• Discovery skills to compile requirements and design or develop solutions
• Analyze, modify, problem solve and test data information systems and applications
• Detect issues, develop solutions, and integrate configurations.
• Use server-side programming languages such as structured query language (SQL)
• Ability to modify and develop applications using programming languages such as C#, Python, Java, HTML
• Improve operational processes, system architectures, security and create e4iciencies
• Understanding of data integration tools, scripting and coding
• Understand data mapping, cleansing, migration, and testing to nullify inconsistencies or errors and optimize systems.
• Understanding integration concepts and patterns, such as SOAP and XML Schemas
• Understand the di4erence between low-level and high-level programming languages
