Senior Advisor - Government Liaison & Regulatory Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Government Relations & Public Policy Engagement

• Establish and maintain high-level relationships with ministries, regulatory bodies (MoR, NHAI, PowerGrid, SEBI, TRAI, MoHUA, etc.), and PSUs.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret new government policies, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Represent the company in policy discussions, regulatory meetings, and industry conferences.

✅ Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

• Ensure the company complies with government policies, industrial regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Handle approvals for tenders, FDI regulations, EPC contracts, and Smart City projects.
• Oversee compliance with GeM (Government e-Marketplace), Make in India, and public procurement rules.

✅ Tendering, Bidding & PSU Engagement

• Lead the bidding process for government tenders and large-scale procurement contracts.
• Develop proposals, cost estimations, and risk analysis for government-funded projects.
• Collaborate with business development teams to secure partnerships with PSUs and EPC contractors.

✅ Infrastructure & Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Advisory

• Provide strategic direction on PPP models for highways, railways, power, telecom, and Smart Cities.
• Assist in securing government incentives, tax benefits, and investment approvals.
• Offer regulatory guidance for M&A deals involving government assets & privatization projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Former IES Officer / Senior PSU Executive / Government Relations Expert with 1220 years of experience.
✔ Strong background in public procurement, infrastructure policy, and industrial regulations.
✔ In-depth knowledge of tendering processes, FDI norms, and trade compliance.
✔ Expertise in government affairs, licensing, and project finance approvals.
✔ Established network in ministries, PSUs, and regulatory bodies.
✔ Ability to liaise with government officials, policymakers, and business stakeholders.
