TITLE: Software Engineer

REPORTING TO: Manager

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

• Contribute to the development, troubleshoot, test and document of a eLIMS application.
• Interact constructively with Business Analysts
• Estimate the complexity and the workload
• Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;
• Reach the optimal requirement artefact that will lead to a working software solution.
• Interact constructively with other IT teams.
• Master and apply team technologies and processes, and take an active part in creating Eurofins and team success.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience with developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft stack of technologies.
• Working knowledge of eLIMS application mandatory ( eLIMS FGS, eLIMS US Food etc)
• Good working knowledge of Web application development using . NET, C#, Asp. net, WebAPI, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Strong Working knowledge of VBScript/VBA Macros.
• Strong working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), specifically the MS-SQL variant.
• Experience with usage of TFS/Azure DevOps
• Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures
• Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)
• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems
• Should have working knowledge on Code review that includes, raising code review, resolve comment reviews, Closing code reviews.
• Should be aware of best practices in programming
• Should know how to troubleshoot performance-related issues, how to write efficient code and query, how to use SQL profiler

Technology - Nice to have:

• Angular Knowledge
• SSRS & SSIS
• Multi-Threading

Personal Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
• Ability to work in a complex international environment
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies would be a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.

BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor s degree with the right experience
