Financial Controller - Chemical Industry - CA (12-25 yrs)

Qualification and Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountants with at least 12 years of Experience of which 5 years or more has to be in a finance management role with a large company. Preference will be given to people with experience in chemical industry. Team management experience is a must.

Job Role:

1. Financial Management & Control:

- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely preparation of financial statements in line with statutory requirements.

- Establish strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks.

2. Process & Policy Implementation:

- Design, implement, and enforce financial policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to strengthen operational efficiency.

- Continuously improve financial workflows, automation processes, and reporting mechanisms to support business scalability.

3. Cost Optimization & Efficiency Initiatives:

- Lead cost-cutting, cost-saving, and resource optimization initiatives across all functions to improve profitability.

- Identify and eliminate financial leakages, reduce overheads, and monitor key cost drivers.

- Partner with business teams to drive lean operations without compromising growth.

4. Supply Chain Finance & Operational Support:

- Collaborate closely with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize working capital, vendor management, and payment cycles.

5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning:

- Prepare detailed annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.

6. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Manage liquidity, banking relationships, and optimize cash flow to ensure financial stability.
