Currently, we are looking for a Hyperion Planning and HFM Consultant to join our team.

Job Description:

Lead the implementation of Oracle Hyperion Planning and HFM applications, ensuring optimal configuration for budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and reporting
Design, configure, and deploy customized solutions for both Hyperion Planning and HFM based on the client s business processes and requirements
Implement data integration solutions between Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, and other external systems (e.g., ERP systems like Oracle Financials or SAP)
Manage Hyperion Planning application design, including Web forms, business rules, calculation scripts, and data load rules
Implement and configure HFM for financial consolidation, ensuring alignment with client requirements for reporting, consolidation methods, and intercompany eliminations
Work on multi-currency, multi-entity consolidation setups within HFM and ensure regulatory and reporting requirements are met
Provide assistance in developing and automating financial reports using tools like Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, and other reporting platforms within Hyperion
Gather and document business requirements from clients related to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation
Design and develop the solution architecture to support both Hyperion Planning and HFM, ensuring integration between the two systems where necessary
Provide guidance on best practices and industry standards for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes
Develop and implement custom Hyperion Planning business rules, financial models, and scripts to meet complex client needs
Customize calculation scripts, financial rules, and other necessary configurations in both Planning and HFM
Create and optimize Essbase cubes for improved performance and data management across both Planning and HFM applications
Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of Hyperion Planning and HFM solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of junior consultants, developers, and analysts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical and functional) to ensure smooth project execution
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for both Hyperion Planning and HFM applications, addressing any system performance, data integrity, or technical issues
Conduct regular system health checks, tuning, and optimization activities to ensure the systems perform at their best
Train client users and internal teams on the usage, administration, and reporting functionalities of Hyperion Planning and HFM
Develop user manuals, training documents, and provide knowledge transfer to ensure clients can operate and maintain the systems independently after implementation
Develop detailed functional and technical documentation for all aspects of Hyperion Planning and HFM applications
Ensure that best practices are followed in the implementation, configuration, and customization of the systems
Maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, business rules, scripts, and project status for client and internal teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including experience in configuration, implementation troubleshooting, and optimization
Proven experience with Essbase, Oracle EPM, and other Oracle EPM cloud-based tools
Deep knowledge of financial consolidation processes, including intercompany elimination, currency translation, and statutory reporting within HFM
Strong hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning features such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and integration with HFM
Expertise in Hyperion Planning design, including Web forms, business rules, calculation scripts, and data load rules
In-depth knowledge of Essbase, including cube design, calculation scripts, and optimization techniques
Strong experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) including financial consolidation, reporting, and multi-currency configurations
Proficiency in MaxL scripting, Hyperion Business Rules (HBR), FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition), and data integrations
Experience with Oracle EPM Workspace, Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, and other related reporting tools
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes
Experience in mapping complex business processes to technical solutions and providing recommendations based on industry best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with leadership and mentoring abilities
Oracle Hyperion Planning and HFM certifications (preferred)
Oracle EPM certifications or related certifications are a plus
Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud products is a plus
Ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
Proven leadership capabilities in leading teams through the complete implementation cycle
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
A Master s degree or relevant certifications would be a plus
