Product Planning Executive

Responsible for the following business / functional activities for Sustainable Programming-India business unit (2.5 NVG):

• Plan product inventory, product training, order & procurement planning.
• Field visit to identify and provide insights related to local competition and consumer trends.
• Articulate market requirements and opportunities.
• Utilize market & business team feedback to work on product refinement and ongoing development.
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancement.
• Create buy-in for the product both internally and with key external partners.
• Define the long-term strategy of the product and create product road map.
• Develop and suggest pricing strategies and product policies including product mix.
• Create a pipeline of suppliers and negotiate with suppliers on price & supply terms.
• Determine product packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams to know service needs
• Work closely with Sales/Marketing/other cross-functional teams
• Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from business teams
• Work closely with Supply Chain team on all the product issues, Plans & Dispatches
• Maintaining data and preparing reports as required by the management

Divisional or BU Experience:

• Should have excellent presentation skills and advanced knowledge in excel.
• Strong exposure to markets, with products/service targeted towards the semi-urban rural market.
• To have good verbal & written communication.
• Should have a good understanding of basic commercials, marketing and supply chain.

Experiences: 3-4 years of work experience

Industry Experience: Any of the following:

• Eye care
• Medical devices
• Healthcare
• FMCG/FMCD

Geographical Experience: Must have India domestic market experience.

Education / Qualification / Certification: Graduate/Post Graduate (MBA/PGDM)

Prior product management experience required.

Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi and local language, Multilingual will be an advantage.
