Job Description:

Essen Carbide is seeking skilled CNC Operators with experience in Walter Tool & Cutter Grinding Machines and Fanuc Robocut Wire EDM Machines to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating high-precision CNC grinding and EDM machines to manufacture carbide and PCD cutting tools, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Walter CNC Tool & Cutter Machine Operations:

• Set up and operate Walter CNC grinding machines as per work instructions and blueprints.
• Select and install appropriate grinding wheels and tooling for different tool geometries.
• Program and adjust machine parameters to achieve desired tool specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections using specialized tools like shadowgraphs, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ensure adherence to strict tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the Walter CNC machine.

2. Fanuc Robocut Wire EDM Machine Operations (PCD Tools):

• Set up and operate Fanuc Robocut Wire EDM machines for PCD tool cutting and sharpening.
• Load PCD tool blanks and align them correctly for precision machining.
• Select suitable wire diameters and configure machine parameters based on tool geometry and material.
• Monitor machine performance, ensuring accuracy in intricate tool profiles.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure tools meet quality standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in CNC grinding / wire EDM machine operation, specifically in cutting tool manufacturing.
• Industry: Cutting Tools / Carbide Tooling / PCD Tools / Precision Machining.
• Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of CNC grinding and EDM machine operations.
• Experience with Walter CNC grinders and Fanuc Robocut Wire EDM is mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments (shadowgraphs, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Compensation:

• CTC: Based on Experience

Location Preference:

• Candidates should be from Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bommasandra.
