About the Role:

As a Backend Engineer (SDE 3) at Es Magico Tech Studio, you will play a critical role in architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions. Youll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality, scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions.
• Architect systems and services with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards and improving code quality.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, debugging complex systems effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of system design and architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience designing scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Prior experience in mentoring and leading small teams of engineers.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven systems is a plus.
