Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend services in Python using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components and third-party services

- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand and implement product requirements

- Focus on performance, scalability, and security of applications

- Resolve bugs and ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing

- Follow best practices and maintain clean, maintainable code

- Keep technical documentation up-to-date

- Design and optimize databases with a focus on performance and scalability

- Work in an Agile development environment, contributing to all stages of product development

Mandatory Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python, with Django, Django Restframework (DRF).

- Candidates with expereince in Flask, FastAPI willing to shift to Django are also preferred.

- Strong experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance

- 5+ years of experience in web development, specifically in Python-based frameworks

- Proficient in version control using Git

- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment

Good to Have :

- Contribution to open-source projects

- Familiarity with DevOps practices

- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Familiarity with API design and frameworks like OpenAPI

- Experience working in a product-based company
