Are you an experienced Migration Engineer with a passion for Python and data transformationEricssons Mobile Financial Services unit is looking for a dedicated professional to play a key role in our data migration projects. In this position, youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient migration solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

What you will do

Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies for data and applications to new platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, product, and compliance teams, to gather requirements and define migration objectives.
Assess existing systems architecture and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies for migration projects.
Design scalable, secure, and efficient migration processes in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead migration projects from inception through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to facilitate and optimize migration efforts.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members involved in migration projects.
Conduct post-migration evaluations to ensure systems are operating as expected and to identify opportunities for further optimization.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of migration processes and architecture designs.
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the Fintech space to continuously enhance migration strategies.

The skills you bring

Proven experience (5+ years) in a migration architect or similar role within the Fintech industry.
Strong understanding of Fintech platforms, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
Expertise in data migration, application migration, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in architectural design, systems integration, and data management practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
