Java Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Ergos products(3 mobile apps and a webapp).
• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
• Peer reviews for code and design
• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process
• May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees
• Provide design/architectural solutions for new developments
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the project

Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on Experience ,7 - 9 years
• Experience in Java 8 and above, REST, Spring boot, Microservices, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, SQL, Maven/Gradle, MySQL
• Expert in Spring boot
• Strong skills in software design, design patterns
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipeline.
• Basic Knowledge in Android app development, Native using Java SDK/ Kotlin and Hybrid.
• Basic Knowledge in front end technologies jQuery, Angular/React Native etc
• Good Knowledge in AWS cloud infrastructure ( ECS, EC2, Cloudwatch, OpenSearch, RDS)
• Good Knowledge in messaging systems (Kafka, Active MQ)
• Good Knowledge in Cache mechanism (Redis, etc)
• Excellent debug and analytical skills are required
• Good communication, presentation and facilitation skills are necessary.

Good domain knowledge. Agritech, Fintech, E-commerce etc.. are preferred
