Job Profile: Pre-Sales Consultant (Digital Health & Software Solutions)
Job Title: Pre-Sales Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored software solutions. The candidate should have a strong background in software technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions. This role will focus on our Digital Health Products (HIS, Smart ICU, etc.), Custom Software Development, and Mobile App Development offerings.

Key Responsibilities (KRA - Key Result Areas):

  1. Customer Requirement Analysis:
    • Meet with potential and existing customers to understand their business needs, pain points, and technical requirements.
    • Conduct in-depth discussions to identify gaps and opportunities for implementing our software solutions.
  2. Solution Design & Proposal Development:
    • Create and present customized solutions that align with customer requirements, leveraging our product portfolio (Digital Health, Custom Software, Mobile Apps).
    • Develop detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation plans.
    • Highlight the unique value proposition of our products and services.
  3. Technical Support to Sales Team:
    • Act as the technical expert during customer meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations.
    • Assist the sales team in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and technical questionnaires.
    • Provide pre-sales support by addressing technical queries and concerns from customers.
  4. Product Knowledge & Expertise:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our Digital Health products (HIS, Smart ICU, etc.), custom software development, and mobile app development capabilities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively.
  5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with the product development, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with customer expectations.
    • Provide feedback from customers to the product team for continuous improvement.
  6. Proof of Concept (PoC) & Demos:
    • Develop and deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase the functionality and benefits of our solutions.
    • Conduct live product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  7. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
    • Act as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing technical guidance and support.
  8. Market Intelligence:
    • Gather market insights and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and improve existing offerings.
    • Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
  9. Documentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, requirements, and proposed solutions.
    • Provide regular updates to the sales team and management on pre-sales activities and outcomes.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of software technologies, including HIS, Smart ICU, custom software development, and mobile app development.
    • Familiarity with software architecture, databases, APIs, and integration methodologies.
    • Understanding of healthcare IT systems and workflows (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Communication & Presentation Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Strong ability to analyze customer requirements and propose effective solutions.
    • Creative thinking to address unique customer challenges.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:
    • A passion for understanding customer needs and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
    • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Time Management & Prioritization:
    • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and deadlines effectively.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architect role, preferably in the software or healthcare IT industry.
  • Experience in Digital Health products (HIS, Smart ICU, etc.), custom software development, or mobile app development is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, software development, etc.) will be an added advantage.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  1. Number of successful customer meetings and presentations conducted.
  2. Quality and accuracy of technical proposals delivered.
  3. Conversion rate of proposals into sales.
  4. Customer satisfaction scores from pre-sales interactions.
  5. Timeliness and effectiveness in responding to RFPs and technical queries.
  6. Contribution to achieving overall sales targets.
