KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (SQL DB Administrator) Installation, upgradation, administration, maintenance, and monitoring of SQL Server Instances Monitoring of DB backups, database health and fix day to day DB related issues Database access management Designing of database backup and recovery strategy and create maintenance plans. Troubleshoot database performance issues such as Memory bottlenecks, CPU bottlenecks, I/O bottlenecks. Setup High-Availability and Disaster Recovery using AlwaysOn. Database upgradation from older SQL versions to latest ones (SQL 2000 onwards) Database migration from on-prem to Azure/AWS/GCP Implement Organizational Data Security and Compliance policies. Usage of IT Service Management tool such as ServiceNow/BMC Remedy TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES Microsoft SQL Server (Mandatory) SQL/TSQL (Mandatory) MS Azure/Google Cloud/AWS (Mandatory, Any of them) SSIS / SSRS/ SSAS PostGres Candidates having knowledge of DESIRED QUALIFICATION Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field DB Administration Certifications on MS Azure (DP-300) or AWS or GCP will be preferred Candidates with knowledge of PostgreSQL database is preferred.
