Job Responsibilities
1. Responsibility
a. Guide RM to develop business plans for various products
b. Ensure that annual targets set by the management are achieved
c. Ensure timely submission of quotation & Tenders
d. Planning and reporting from sales team regarding tour planning and order taking
e. Act as an interface between customer and internal departments from inquiry to post order stage to ensure complete customer satisfaction
f. Ensure implementation of corrections/ corrective actions/ preventive actions as applicable
g. Periodic customer satisfaction survey. Initiate necessary actions as required
h. Determine competence requirements for subordinates. Carry out periodic competence assessment of subordinates and initiate necessary actions to develop necessary competence
i. Provide inputs to production for preparing monthly production and dispatch plans
j. Ensure adherence to departmental procedural requirements
k. Ensure upkeep of relevant records
l. Monitor and ensure that objectives related to Sales & BD are met
2. Authority
a. Authorized to set targets and benchmarks for achievement
b. Decisions on final quote and discounts in consultation with Vertical sales Head and Unit head
c. Authorized to take all decisions pertaining to Liasoning and negotiating with clients, various other companies, government (regarding tenders) etc.
d. Authorize tour plans of subordinates
e. Approve leave and re-imbursements of sub-ordinates
f. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinates
g. Sharing basic information of the organization in terms of products, process, technical man power, list of customer etc. in soft and/or hard
h. Completely authorized to take all decisions pertaining to the Sales function and shall consult Management wherever necessary
3. Accountability
a. Timely actions as required against customer satisfaction results
b. Adherence to departmental procedural requirements
c. Achievement of departmental objectives
d. Timely competence assessment of sub-ordinates
e. Smooth co-ordination and communication flow with customer
f. Timely processing of customer inquiries
