As FlexiLoans enters the next orbit of growth, we are looking for people with the passion and hunger to make a dent in the MSME ecosystem. We are looking for an ESG Manager to lead the development and execution of a robust ESG framework. This role involves driving sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and integrating ESG principles across the organization. Read more on what we are looking for in the role

What you will work on:

- Design and implement a comprehensive ESG framework aligned with the company's mission and business goals.

- Identify key ESG priorities and set measurable goals for each.

- Collaborate with investors, regulators, and industry bodies to align on ESG expectations and initiatives.

- Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and industry bodies, to communicate the company's ESG initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with applicable ESG-related regulations and standards.

- Assess and mitigate ESG-related risks across the organization.

- Prepare ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and investor decks, highlighting the company's ESG performance

- Develop and maintain ESG data collection processes and systems.

- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on ESG principles and their relevance to the business.

- Benchmark against peers to continuously improve the company's ESG performance.

The ideal candidate:

- Highly driven and motivated individual with ability to get hands-on where required.

- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levels.

- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs.

- Ability to motivate and develop a strong team.

- Problem solving approach.

- Strong business acumen.

Qualification and Experience

- 5+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or related roles, preferably in the financial services or fintech sector.

- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
