Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in managing our cloud infrastructure, implementing automation, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage AWS environments
Optimize AWS resource usage for cost-effectiveness and performance
Implement multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, and databases
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software integration and deployment
Identify opportunities for automation and develop tools to improve system efficiency
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments (EKS or other orchestration platforms)
Work with container technologies like Docker
Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch)
Establish alerting systems and respond to incidents promptly
Ensure that security best practices are followed in the AWS environment
Implement and manage security tools
Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings
Work closely with development teams to implement DevOps best practices
Provide training and documentation to enhance team knowledge
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture
Strong experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
Expertise in CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and scripting
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong Linux/Unix systems administration skills
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
Experience with database systems and messaging queues
