Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system (SMS).
- Provide training on industrial safety, chemical safety, HAZOP analysis, risk assessment, and other relevant topics to employees at all levels.
- Ensure timely reporting of incidents/accidents and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MS/M.Sc(Science) degree in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Minimum 11-21 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety role within the fertilizers/pesticides/agrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of OHSAS 18001 standard; IOSH certification.
